Originally founded in 1998, Montimedia Pty Ltd (Montimedia Internet) is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Telephony Provider based in Daylesford, Victoria. Montimedia is committed to following operational guidelines for the communications industry and as such is associated with the relevant regulatory bodies – The Internet Industry Association (IIA) as well as the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) scheme.

• The TIO is an industry funded regulator established to provide an independent investigation of and to mediate the resolution of a consumer's complaint relating to telecommunications services or carriage services. The IIA provides policy input to the government and industry regulators on a range of issues with a view to promote best practice and initiatives which enhance the reliability and growth of the internet as a medium.
