We have a large number of ADSL and PSTN faults that have not been resolved within the standard timeframes due to mass disruptions and high workloads in QLD and NSW.

Our carrier partner has also dispatched techs from around the country to these areas of high workload to support the tech located in these regions. As such this has affected the resolution times of faults in other areas of the country.
As commitments and appointments proceed past expected resolution dates, we escalate the fault with the carrier to ensure these are sent back to field for resolution.

We currently do have a number of faults awaiting to be rescheduled.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing our customers that do have existing service faults.

Web Hosting Server Upgrades – 18/02/2013

Dear Valued Hosting Customers,

In the next few days from 18/02/2013 the mmnet.cyberspace.net.au  server will be replaced by a new more powerful server. This upgrade is another step in the process to ensure that we have the highest reliability, speed and scalability across all our servers.

If everything goes as planned nothing will change here at Montimedia when the servers are back online.  However, if there are problems then please do let us know by contacting Support on  1300 79 49 69 or by sending an email.

Customers may experience issues such as; not being able to make/receive calls, loss of signal/coverage and or not being able to establish a data connection due to issues.

Due to a storage migration there will be a period of upto 150 minutes where POP3/IMAP services will be unavailable between 0100-0400 Wednesday 21/11/2012. Mailbox messages will be located on two physical infrastructures during the migration, however there is a requirement to keep the source storage in a fixed state whilst the data is migrated to prevent duplication.

In the event of problems with the new storage infrastructure after migration, a roll back to the old storage will be made.

As advised by email and in our news item of 17th August, as part of an expansion of our network within the Over the Wire data center, we are currently performing physical switch upgrades and local rack relocations.

This process will result in an interruption to email and web hosting services for a period expected to be between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the particular service.
